Hetland Board Meeting Minutes : 05/04/09

Hetland HOCKEY CAMP (July 6-10) – Brian Saf

-Goal is to break even- not a fundraiser

-We have 4 committed coaches (Cricket, Tyler, Saf, Derek) - Need 5 coaches / 5 stations (need one more coach) - - - Brian Saf is the contact person for this

-Camp will include Mite thru PW skaters, so the Bantams and Midgets will be available to help. Give a tuition credit for 5 Midgets for the week.  Even if it's $200

-Goal is to have: 5 coaches /5 Midgets – at $150 for the week.

- Handout (a) Profit- $1600 – can be used for waters, and misc items

- Model (b) includes Bantams- not likely- but we will shoot for model B , if Bantams show interest – Otherwise use handout A

- Will Send out camp info to LTS to Bantams

- Put up on website / email out to all parents/ possible ad in Newspaper.

--Need donations for water? Maybe Viccari can get water from pepsi.

---Contact person / send checks to PO Box. Attn: Brian Saf / Hetland Summer Camp.

-- Jessica will create flier/application form & post on website.

--- Credit Card / Visa/MC only. 

 GOLF TOURNAMENT –(June 27th)

-- Derek Mederios & Cindy contact people.  

--Allendale agreed to host for $65 per golfer. Food is pre-done menu (cheapest was $15 for full Italian Buffet)

---- (Brian Rose’s proposed) Back Nine/ $30 pp (not including food)

– Discussed Back Nine is 18 holes, Only a Par 3 – Longest hole is 190 yards.  Allow carts for first 16 teams only.

-- Board decided Allendale was a better idea we will charge $125. to play at Allendale & have Dinner there- seems reasonable.

--Last year we had 19 foursomes / 76 people. This year shooting for 100 / Last year same day at Titliest. Last year we charged $100/ made 35 per person.

-- Brian Rose will work on Gift Bags.

--- Every Board member has to get PAID in advance 1-2 foursomes. 13 people x 2 = 26 teams. 

-- Email Flier to Parents & Coaches-

- Hole sponsorships - $100 for each Hole.  – See sponsorship tri-fold
