The Hetland Panthers Youth Hockey Association is proud to offer first time skaters, ages 3 to 13, a learn to skate program designed to bring fun and enthusiasm to play the game of hockey!
>All lessons are instructed by USA Hockey certified coaches.
>Parents with skating experience are welcome to assist with their children after attending the USA Hockey initiation seminar and completion of a mandatory Cori Check. When: All Sessions are held on Sunday mornings 8:20 - 9:10 AM Pre-Registration for Learn-to-Skate will be held Sunday January 8th from 7:30am-9:30am @ the Hetland Ice Arena, 310 Hathaway Blvd New Bedford ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The following is a list of items the participants need on their 1st day: 1- A Properly Fitted HECC Certified Helmet 2- A Pair of Hockey Gloves 3-A Set of Knee Pads/Shin Guards 4-A Properly Fitted Pair of Skates | (Mandatory) (Highly Recommended) (Highly Recommended) (Mandatory) |
| ~All skaters are asked to be at the rink 30 minutes before ice time in order to be ready with all equipment on 10 minutes before ice time. ~Please note all Learn to Skate participants need to register at www.usahockeyregistration.com.
